Nightstop: Live & Work

The Nightstop programme is strengthening its preventative approach to youth homelessness by embedding youth voice at its core. Two young leaders from CHISPA with lived experience are helping shape the scheme, ensuring it reflects real needs.

The collaboration will develop a “Live and Work” prototype in Gloucestershire, combining affordable housing with employment, while building the case for early intervention. Critically, the methodology underpinning this work embeds youth voice throughout, driving meaningful systemic change.

This work will inform a pilot, strengthen advocacy, and shift responses from crisis-led support to sustainable, scalable solutions that support young people into stability and independence.

Nightstop is tackling youth homelessness earlier, shaped by two young CHISPA leaders with lived experience. Together we're piloting a "Live and Work" model in Gloucestershire, pairing housing with employment to help young people build stable, independent lives.
