Gloucester Park Mash events are a youth-led, multi-activity events designed to celebrate and activate the Bakersfield area of Gloucester Park. Run by young people who use the facilities, the events aim to showcase the positive development of this previously neglected space. They are a vibrant showcase of sport and creativity, bringing together all areas and facilities in the Bakersfield area of the park. Featuring basketball tournaments, film/photography workshops and boxing and calisthenics sessions led by world-class athletes.

These events took place during the summer of 2026 as part of The Gloucester Bar Park Community programme and were made possible by our community of young people and volunteers and support from The National Lottery.
